Vera Alexandropoulou
has a Legal, Business & Financial background, with studies in Law at Athens and Heidelberg Universities and Business Administration and Management from Harvard. She also holds a Diploma in Port & Terminal Management from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS UK).

Vera Alexandropoulou is the founder of VA law firm (www.alexandropouloulaw.com), a boutique law firm based in the heart of Piraeus, established in 2005 and dealing with numerous transactions of foreign institutional and private clientele, among others, shipmanagement & shipowning companies. Her areas of expertise include project financing and project structuring, shipping, renewable energy sources, waste to energy, real estate, M&A, corporate shares listing and delisting, financial and business restructuring, private equity and venture capital, corporate and investment banking, securities law, corporate due diligence, and regulatory framework. At the same time, she is a Lecturer at the Athens University of Economics and Business Postgraduate Studies Program in “Finance and Law in the Energy Markets” Academic year 2019-2020 (up to the present) and a Researcher at Athena Research and Innovation Center (ATHENA RC) in the context of EIT Climate-KIC Hub Greece (October 2019- Present) Athens.

She served, for 13 years (Nov. 2005 to 2018 Piraeus, Greece), as a legal Counsel at Piraeus Port Authority S.A. in co-operation with the majority shareholder Cosco Shipping Group. Previous Vera’s legal practice was at Norton Rose Law Firm. She also worked at numerous foreign and national law firms with expertise in the areas of Civil, Corporate and Commercial / Company Law, Contract Law, Banking, Finance and Capital Markets, Energy Law, Shipping Law & Real Estate.

Having created a strong legal and economic background, both through her studies, as well as through her continuing training and interaction with the real economy and markets , authorities and institutions, she has been advising as well as participating in incubator programs and youth entrepreneurship either by delivering lectures and seminars or as a mentor /consultant of start-ups.

Antonis Chondronikos
holds an MBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Institut Universitaire Kurt Bosch and a certificate in the same academic field, from the State University of New York. He also has a Certificate in Religious Studies from Harvard.

In his career so far, he has operated as a Strategic Consultant at Baker Tilly South East Europe, Partner at Scrinium Financial & Insurance Advisors, Executive in Innovative Health Services, Member of the Board of Directors of BINGO S.A., and General Manager of the Euromedica and Athineon General Clinic. In the past, he worked for several Medical Institutions such as the Metropolitan General Hospital, the IASO General Hospital, the Euroclinic Group and the Central Clinic of Athens Group, always in managerial positions. He has also worked in the banking and financial sector for several years as CEO, General Manager, Business Development Director and Financial Consultant.

He holds certificates on different specializations in the field of finance (ChFM, RFC, CFC etc) and he is a Member of numerous associations’ Boards such as the Hellenic Institute of Financial Advisory Services and the HFPA (Hellenic Financial Planners Association). He has also published several books and many articles in daily and monthly press, in Greece and Cyprus.
